The world of typography can be daunting, to say the least. For a few dollars, you can download 10,000+ fonts in just a few minutes and tens of thousands are available for free if you are willing to sort through them all. Not only are there a plethora of font famillies but there are also the font styles within each family. So, really, the question isn't whether or not you can get a specific font - it's where to begin!
Knowing what fonts should be used where and which ones should be avoided in certain situations will help narrow your search. Then you can further tone down your search by defining the look you are trying to create. Some font styles can add a dimension of femininity, others can add to a grunge design, and still others can create a more corporate look. Even so, the same font can be used to create different looks, which is why it can sometimes be best to keep an open mind when choosing a font to create a certain look.
Portfolio is the reflection of one’s work and skills; any potential employer actually goes through your portfolio and sees your previous designs and work you have done. Going over your portfolio he decided to either hire you or not. Most employers search on the net; those portfolios which have something different to offer will get noticed and consequently will be hired.
Starting your first online portfolio can spark many questions and anxieties. Your artwork reflects your personality and skill and must make an impression. The designs on your website will be scrutinized, so your portfolio should set a standard for what can be achieved in graphic design. Showcase your best work effectively and you will win over clients.

Selling is the most important element of any business and ranges from selling online products to selling groceries. The success of any business depends on a strong, unique selling point and the correct attitude to sell. You might be a freelancer or a salaried employee; you cannot avoid selling, as it is the most important aspect of your business. While writers need to sell their work through their writing, designers need to sell their work through their designs. Therefore, everyone involved in a business is directly or indirectly a sales person.
People sell not only in their professional life but also in their personal life, although they might not be aware of this fact. And the one who sells better and sells efficiently wins the race.
Having a blog could be dangerous because, for many of us, the entire process of administering and maintaining can turn into an addictive task, one not being happy until a new post is published; moreover, the addiction may be acute and one will wait for the first reaction of the readers impatiently. Certainly, it’s not too difficult to become a blogging addict and, surprisingly, personally I do not consider it to be very negative (of course, it isn’t that good to have this “quality” but, compared to other problems, it is not the worst thing in the world). In fact, there are two sides of the same problem: if someone is skeptical, that person will have the tendency to say that spending too much time on a blog is a disaster and this “illness” needs to be corrected, but an optimistic person would say that the addictiveness is only a big passion and that is all.
Being objective takes a lot of effort but, my humble opinion, cumulated with the thoughts of other great bloggers, related to the problem of blogging, concludes to the fact that this is a time-consuming activity so the problem isn’t the addictiveness, it is mostly about how to be more competitive. Being a good blogger or taking care of a successful blog is a difficult job and the competition is terrible; users have so many possibilities that almost these can almost be mentioned as countless.
