A good poster is a very easy job for an regular artist but a creative poster takes a lot amount of time and thinking for one or more group of artists which however, reaches beyond the simple advertisement work to a piece of art and the outcome is so wonderful then a regular movie poster that it made movie memorable. Still there are exceptions in which movie rating was really low but the posters are really inspirational.

Wooow! Amazing post, creative ideas.
as if this is a list of best movies instead best movie posters
… pretty cool movie posters… you have a great post here showcasing all of these from 2009 !! But they just seem like they are missing something… or maybe it’s just me !! There’s just something about the old style posters from the 30’s through about the late 60’s that I seem to hold in memory !! I guess because they are “classics” of the genre… I need these from ‘09 to “age” a bit longer… I’ll probably grow to like these just as well a little farther down the road !!
Really great posters, haven’t seen all these movies and some never even heard of. Nice designs and interesting looking films.
Love the posters, some of the movies I hadn’t even heard of. Now I have to do a little graphic and film art research. Thanks for the list.
All are great examples of design. Though wolverine kind of disappointed me because they kept moving the position of the blades on his hand throughout the movie lol..
You could’ve just called it 20 best movie posters and left out the terribly cliched ones: Transformers 2, Public Enemies, Hangover, etc… And Avatar?! Papyrus never deserves the center stage especially when it is stretched and has a glow effect. The rest are great though. Cold Souls is an amazing poster.
I loved these amazing posters
it is creative !
Amazing posters
The terminator salvation one was amazing, the first time you realise that there’s a face was so cool!
Really liked the whole concept behind promoting district 9, a whole new way to go viral!
Lol at some of these posters…Avatar? The lamest thing i’ve ever saw…please.
Really? Both of my comments were erased, after I simply speak my mind on how terrible of a post this was? I didn’t agree with you, and a couple replies, so you don’t want others seeing it? What a joke.
@anon – All the comments approved as long as they don’t have any abusive words or language. We never erase criticism or readers true thoughts if they put them in right language.
I’ll like to try one of them.
i vote for COLD SOULS
I want to say something about the Transformer 2 is With a furious and almost intransigent focus on special effects over story, the ‘physical’ over the emotional, and the appalling(and unnecessary) attempts at being ‘contemporary’ and ‘humorous’, not to mention the relentless pushing of a romantic angle where there wasn’t one to be had, make this film a waste of time, money, and a potentially good experience.
Cool posters. I like film District 9!
Wow…its great poster. I like it all….Thank you.if any movie again, colect it in more poster for example in 100 best movie …I’m sure it will be the greatest ..thankyou….
