One that I have used quite a bit is http://www.aboutpixel.de. Whilst the site is in German, it’s pretty easy to figure out how to register (no email activation) and search for images. And every single image has impeccable resolution for use in artwork.

There’s also a stock division of Jupiter Media that I use.

I use http://istockphoto.com, http://mostphotos.com and http://yaymicro.com – all of them have low prices and lots of images!

This Spanish site http://bancoimagenes.isftic.mepsyd.es/ (pictures, sounds and videos) is also great and resources are free for education purposes. Great for language teachers!
Pictures are available in different quality.

Morguefile is the best, easiest to use, decent selection and the most hassle free licensing terms.
