Have you ever wondered why you seem to be getting hungrier while waiting to place your order at a fast food place or why you eat faster than any human should ingest that poison? Have you ever heard of a “power tie” in business?
There are things that excite the human senses. Aromatherapy and the sense of smell bring about mood and emotional change. Taste, touch and audible sensations bring about the same changes, so it’s no surprise that visuals also bring about emotional changes in humans.
One of my favorite TV shows is undoubtedly, Myth Busters on Discovery Channel. People are very interested in enjoying the latest crazy ideas applied into practice, exactly what the creators of the show, Adam Savage, Jamie Hyneman, Kari Byron, Grant Imahara, and Tory Belleci know best. I am grateful to them, they offered me many hours of relaxing time and many other people noticed this fact because their audience is remarkable.
For the ones that aren’t enjoying Myth Busters (if there is someone), the idea of the show is to create experiments to demonstrate the value of truth for some dilemmas. The fun part is the large palette of ideas used and the way experiments are realized. The same episode may treat some serious problems, somehow specific to engineering field as calculating the trajectory of projectiles to more “human” ideas as how to combat the smell from a car where the corpses of two pigs were deposited for some weeks. Anyway, I really recommend watching an episode to get a full picture.

Branding is the most important part of every business. The success of most businesses relies largely on the popularity of the brands. People remember a brand and follow it, which gives impetus and growth to the business. The goal of every startup is to build a brand name and to maintain it. Therefore, branding is the core objective of every business.
However, in the professional world one should realize that besides the company, business, and industry, every individual is an asset, and popular assets are brands everyone knows. An individual has his/her own identity, which is separate from the business, and the more popular an individual is, the more he or she is recognized and rewarded. Therefore, branding yourself helps you to become popular among your business circle and helps your work become recognized. For a freelancer, branding is much more important. This is because freelancers work in their own comfort zone and their communication with people is restricted. In such cases you need to take more care branding yourself so you are popular with your clients.
