    Elegant Themes is extremely good at ignoring their customers many requests for really basic things.

    It took 4 years for ET to add a way to edit the default footer linking to ET without editing core files or creating a child theme. Yes – they literally had a linkback on a PAID theme – no joke – for 4 YEARS. It was requested literally thousands of times before they fixed it. They never once admitted it was a problem – EVER. Just finally, very quietly, added it to an update.

    They have also spent a ridiculous amount of time and resources to create their new Divi Builder (essentially a front-end editor). It’s nothing special and just takes the focus away from much more important things.

    We already have a lifetime membership so it makes no sense to change now. If I could do it again I probably wouldn’t choose Divi.
