60+ Comic Strips for Web Designers About Internet and Technology

As long as there have been computers there have been computer geeks. And as long as there have been geeks there have been geeky comic strips. Don’t you miss reading comic strips in your daily newspaper? It’s kind of ironic to see what designers can do with comic strips and graphic novels as modern age designers love to experiment with things and try to convey their message in creative and compressive manner. Even though this is not a common practice to do but still, as the new technologies and design issues come up, and as more and more designers notice them and make use of them in their work, these kinds of comics emerge.

In this presentation, you’ll find a collection of creative and humors comic strips related to web, internet and technology which will surly going to give you something to chuckle over and lighten up your busy life a little.

Technically, Comics is a graphic medium in which images are utilized in order to convey a sequential narrative; the term, derived from massive early use to convey comic themes, came to be applied to all uses of this medium including those which are far from comic. It is the sequential nature of the pictures and the predominance of pictures over words, which distinguish comics from picture books, though there is some overlap between the two media. Most comics combine words with images, often indicating speech in the form of word balloons, but pantomime strips, such as The Little King, are not uncommon. Words other than dialogue, captions for example, usually expand upon the pictures, but sometimes act in counterpoint.

  4. Hi. My name is Chris Flick. I currently write and draw two webcomic strips. The first one is called Capes & Babes and is comic book-based

The second one is a strip I have been doing since May 25th, 2004 for the web site Community MX. That strip is called “CMX Suite” and is primarily based on web design and other technology.

Here is my strip dealing with the iPad announcement:
