What do Your Clothing Colors Say About You? [Infographic]

Colors carry a lot of emotions in themselves; each color represents some mood and changes its nature when used in any combination with other colors. So a lot depends upon colors which take a pivot role when it comes to wearing clothes too because the nature of a person is reflected through the color selection of his clothes.

It’s more than just the emotional factor of the colors you choose. Colors act upon the body as well as the mind. Red has been shown to stimulate the senses and raise the blood pressure, while blue has the opposite effect and calms the mind and body.

People will actually gamble more and make riskier bets when seated under a red light as opposed to a blue light. That’s why cities with gambling institutions use a lot of red neon lights.

Color will be one of the first things anyone notices when looking at you and it will be a large part of the initial impressions people form about you, your personality, and your business. 1. The color of clothing you wear doesn’t mean anything. I’m absolutely positive that every person (perhaps in the entire world) has clothing that is different colors. No one just wears black all the time, or red all the time. And, in fact, most men do not even give a thought about what they put on in the morning as they get ready for work. They will have a bunch of t-shirts and some blue jeans. Grab this, grab that and out the door. Women are much more likely to actually think about what they are putting on in the morning.
Even aside from that, did you know that while most people notice what you wear (again mostly women) they DO NOT care what color it is. Seeing a woman in a red dress doesn’t make people think that she is incredibly angry that day. Nor will it make the observer feel angry. I personally know people that love to wear red, yet they are very shy. I also know people who wear green all the time that throw their cigarette butts out the car window while driving.
No study I have ever seen or read has confirmed anything in this infographic.
