Here’s my new button. It’s like the sliding doors button, but obviously can’t be using sliding doors, because the transparent parts won’t cover the other half. I called it “the levitating submit button”, since works as a submit, and doesn’t use extra markup to achieve the same result. Same transparent, 1 single image, doesn’t depend on opaque corners to hide a thing or on a same-color background, uses less code.

Hi guys, I would like to ask you for a favor, since you’re really good at finding this stuff. I used to have a template for a top navigation bar like the one at Mashable.com where on hover, a list of a lot of links is displayed neatly below.. but orginized. I believe it’s using Jquery and Superfish plugin, but not sure. Could you please find a tutorial for me, or somewhere to download a template.

I’ve recently written up a tutorial on using only CSS to create some sexy buttons. It makes use of RGBA gradients and works well in Webkit and Mozilla browsers while still degrading gracefully. It uses no images and can easily be changed to fit into any site.

Hey, did you try a Cool Button Designer? I think it is a best web button creator – if you dont have a photoshop or dont know how to use it. You can also apply the CSS to the graphics created in Cool Button Designer. I suggest you to try it, it has bunch of features, and creates a cool looking buttons.
